قبل از عید خبرنامه مرکز پژوهشی کودکان دنیا نوشته بود که موسسه ای از بچه های مهدکودکی مسابقه زیبایی ترتیب داده و می خواهد زیباترین کودک تهران رو معرفی کند.
این را که خواندم اولش گفتم واقعا کی جرات می کند که بگوید بچه های ما قشنگ هستند یا نیستند؟ اصلا معیار زیبایی برای کودک چه اهمیتی دارد و آیا کودکی که زیبا نیست دوست داشتنی نیست؟ چه دلیلی برای این مسابقه وجود دارد؟ آیا کودکی که برنده می شود بعدها وارد جریان تبلیغات و فیلم و ...نمی شود و به نوعی از زیباییش سوء استفاده نمی شود؟
بعدش یاد دوران مدرسه افتادم که بعضی وقتها پیش می آمد در روزهای خاصی به کسانی که اسمشان فاطمه یا زهرا یا زینب بود جایزه می دادند.و باز یادم آمد که چقدر برای ما غیر منصفانه بود که آن ها توی چیزی برنده می شدند که امکان رقابت در آن موجود نبود و چقدر آن ها از جمع بچه ها طرد می شدند و مورد خشم نهانی بچه ها قرار می گرفتند به خاطر گرفتن جایزه ای که حقشان نبود و برایش هیچ زحمتی نکشیده بودند.حالا این مسابقه هم توی ذهن بچه ها همین حالت را ایجاد می کند. آن ها بازنده می شوند بدون اینکه تلاششان اثری در برد و باخت داشته باشد. در عین حال یک آرزوی نهفته برای زیباتر بودن درونشان شکل می گیرد و زیبایی یک ملاک می شود برایشان .
به نظر من واکنش تند مرکز پژوهشی کودکان دنیا خیلی مناسب بود و باید دست این جور موسسه ها از ذهن های پاک بچه ها دور بماند.
